You Loved Me

In my time of uncertainty,
In my period of chaos,
You appeared
Out of the emptiness
Prepared to love;
Ready to embrace the chaos
With a gentle heart
And welcoming arms.
Not even the darkest part of myself
Could chase you away-
Instead, you built me up
And loved my scars;
Took my pain, took it all
Still, you were unmoved.
Unphased.
You loved me.

Power

A gentle breath controls the breeze through the forest,
A gracious hand gives us sun and light,
And a good heart provides shelter and warmth.
At the moment that man forgets that He is reigning over all,
The same breath blows winds that tear down the strongest trees;
The gracious hand turns to a just hand, allowing destruction;
And the good heart breaks down shelter and warmth to show the power of Himself -to pull man back to The Father.

Little bits.

Looking through an old notebook and found this that I wrote; “With each beat of the heart a wave of greater pain washes over my soul…”, and that is all I wrote down. I wonder what was going through my mind. #tinysayings

Just Thinking…

image

The rallies of the mind inflict all of
Pains wrath on the heart:
Sure to reap much agony,
Thoughts capture a whole being
And expand far into the shell
Of motion and emotion
For this reason the mother of affection
Cringes at her partners ideas.
When the Evil One invades their vessel,
Black ideas and dark sentiments
Carry promises of desolation,
Oh, but when the Holy One whispers Into the great cloud a muffled truth
Trickles to break away
All of the corrupt noises
That distract from the angelic voices.

Beauty Behind the Sun

Yesterday has passed away
With all the pain and sorrow, too
The hurt behind a heart astray
Is mended by a brand new day;
A crested silver sliver has rotated past
To give up the sky for rays alas’
Beaming promises shine in the blue
Hope that only One proves true.

Abandon

DSC_0115Uncertainty is not quite a black night

Nor a blue day

But a fused grey between the two

The middle of yes and no,

Left or right, stop and go.

Rather than choosing a direction

Shame is picked instead

I fall into a darker state of misplacement

Where the Maker is neglected

And self is reflected

Drowning in a sea of doubt

Yet a hand -merciful and powerful

Reaches for the heart of my soul

A remnant of love

When the girl wrapped in grey is rescued from doubt

The shackles that grip hope so tightly

Break apart -then Holiness descends

Touching my heart to love boldly,

My soul to soar joyfully,

And the mind to believe clearly.

Indeed, mercy is all I’ve known:

When True Love is abandoned

It never departs from the soul

How merciful He is

To love a rebelling girl, captured in uncertainty.
